Small businesses with big personalities.
Every business deserves a brand that feels as personal as the experience it offers. Each of these started with an owner’s vision and grew into a complete brand.
Steps in Tuscany offered highly personalized travel experiences, but its brand and website didn’t capture what made those trips so special. As Creative Consultant, I led the complete brand transformation, from strategy and visual identity to storytelling and the website.
Before I designed anything, I packed a bag. I traveled through Tuscany as a guest and talked with fellow travelers to learn what made the journeys so memorable. Those insights became the heart of the brand story.
From there, I built a more refined identity around authentic storytelling, my original photography and destination-inspired content, helping travelers imagine Tuscany before they ever booked.
Bookings doubled in the first year after launch, and the business has continued to grow every year since.
Giving Word of Mouth a new brand to smile about.
After more than 30 years in practice, this dentist had built a loyal patient base entirely through referrals, often caring for several generations of the same family, without ever advertising. The goal was to turn that history of trust into a brand that could attract new patients and move beyond the clinical feel of typical dental marketing.
The best brand idea was already there. Patients had been saying it for 30 years. The practice had grown by word of mouth, so that became the new name and the heart of a warm, modern brand.
I led the full transformation, from naming and brand strategy to a mid-century modern visual identity, brand voice, website, social media, signage and interior concepts.
Social following tripled in the first year after the rebrand, and patient feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
Styling a boutique decor shop with a touch of madness.
For Madhouse, a home décor and gift retailer, the owner came to me with a vision for her new business. Working with an art director, I helped translate that vision into a distinctive brand identity and a flexible visual system.
The identity paired a recognizable signature mark with changing imagery and natural textures. It adapted across print, promotions, gift cards, signage and the store itself.
Every application still felt unmistakably Madhouse.
